To offer a wider range of comics, HeDan Comics trades across two events, BGCP and the BLACKHEART MARKET.
BGCP Events are family friendly comic cons, where HeDan Comics will bring along thousands of comics containing more familiar characters like Spider-Man and Batman.
The BLACKHEART MARKETS offer something a little different, being more focused on an alternative crowd, this allows HeDan Comics to bring along a range of horror and more adult comics.
Who is HeDan Comics?
My name is Daniel and I have been a comic collector for 40 years. Yes, that sounds like a therapy confession and in a way it is, as collecting comics was not really seen as a popular or cool thing for a long time. Thanks to the ever-growing popularity of the Marvel and DC movies, comics over the past ten years have become ever more popular, getting young children reading and learning about the rich and exciting history of their favorite superheroes and returning fans, coming back to their childhood favorites or looking to something new.
I have been a part of the comics scene in Glasgow for some 10 years, mainly helping behind the scenes at many of the BGCP events. HeDan Comics was born from a simple favor for the BGCP which very quickly turned into a newfound joy, attending many events as a vendor, selling and even buying more and helping spread the comic love.
